MB-60E EI – FIRE ENVELOPES WITH DOORS, CLASSES EI15 TO EI30

The MB-60E EI system is used to make internal or external single and double-leaf fire doors. This system also allows you to perform the so-called technical windows and fireproof partition walls. Structures made on the basis of the MB-60E EI system are characterized by the fire resistance class EI15 or EI30 according to the PN-EN 13501-2 + A1: 2010 standard. The system is classified as fire retardant (NRO).

The solution is based on aluminum profiles with a thermal break of the MB-60E system, the construction depth of the sections is 60 mm. The fire resistance of the structure is ensured by fire insulation elements installed in the internal chambers of the profiles. The structures are additionally equipped with expanding tapes, which, in the event of a fire, are an impenetrable barrier for it.

The system allows the use of all typical fire-resistant glass, classes EI15 and EI30, with a thickness of 5 to 41 mm. Unlike other fire-resistant systems, the glass in MB-60 E EI is fixed with glazing beads on the inside. The used special steel accessories protect the glass against falling out during a fire.

The MB-60E EI system enables the production of doors with the maximum leaf dimensions: S up to 1.4 m; H up to 2.475 m. The width of a double-leaf door can be 2.58 m. Thanks to its design possibilities and compatibility with other systems of the MB series, this solution is in many cases a very attractive proposition in this class of fire protection products.
